DO NOT use this company for any moving experience. They tout a 4.9 Google rating, which is a lie. Hands down the worst moving broker we have ever used. Safe Ship is a broker and thus passes the blame directly to the moving company. I paid $1,960 to Safe Ship, and $4,024 for the packing and pickup, and $4,716 to have my stuff delivered. I am planning on making it my mission in this life to ensure that NO ONE has to deal with Safe Ship. They are a predatory and dishonest shipping company. Do NOT use Safe Ship. Do NOT believe anything they say to you on the phone.

Safe Ship is very disappointing. They give you these prices, then bid your move out. The company showed up to move with a big truck, saying it was more stuff than listed so that we needed two trucks. We were quoted $5,500 from Safe Ship, but once our stuff was in the truck it went to $10K. Do the work and avoid brokers.

Worst communication ever! Then had the decency to charge me an extra $1,440 on day of delivery THAT NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT!! At first I refused to give the extra money so the driver locked himself in the truck held my stuff HOSTAGE until I was forced to give the extra money. Then had an attitude the whole time! DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Before choosing to hire Safe Ship Moving Services for your move, you should ask yourself if you would rather just take $5,000 dollars and light it on fire. They do nothing but book a mover on your behalf and charge double the price for it. They are extremely dishonest and use deceptive and high pressure sales tactics. Do not do business with these people.

Horrible experience. They completely misrepresented my move from the start. At pickup, they listed my 4th-floor apartment as "ground floor", and at delivery they claimed a shuttle fee last minute even though they had the address weeks in advance. They used two different subcontracted companies for pickup and delivery. Fraudulent, Dishonest, disorganized, and very stressful from start to finish. Avoid this company at all costs.

Horrible experience, quoted wrong from beginning. Missing and broken items, wet boxes, lamp shades missing, feet from shelving missing, and one foot off an antique table missing. They held our shipment hostage until we paid almost $700 more. Calling into this company is Horrible. Do not Use this company. If I could give negative stars I would.

Safe Ship Moving uses their "veteran-owned" brand as a deceptive front to hustle people into signing. Absolute predatory operation. They are not a real carrier, they are a broker. During the first week of her move, they aggressively jacked the price up, nearly doubling the cost. Taking advantage of a senior citizen and stripping them of their savings under a manufactured emergency. Do not trust this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! High pressure during onboarding. They hire foreign drivers. Doc sign the bill of lading which blocked out any choices for reimbursement of damaged/lost items. BBB just offered a check for $75, which I refused, so to accept it meant I couldn't write with BBB.

Like many reviewers, I was very unsatisfied with my experience. Safe Ship took a very large deposit, and then had me deal with the actual moving companies they hired. Their whole "you just have one number to communicate with" was not true in my case. Safe Ship would just give me the number of the moving company and have me deal with them. They failed to properly communicate timelines and overall left me feeling like they took my money and provided no value. I would say to stay away from this company, they are a broker and just take money for listing high on google search.
