The central grievance: the plaintiffs are listed as 'not verified' on usmpo.org, and they claim this status harms their business.

Investigated by the Florida Attorney General and DOT Office of Inspector General for moving fraud. A settlement was reached with Amerisafe and its owners.

What 'Not Verified' Means
USMPO's verification process evaluates carriers based on BBB ratings, aggregate review scores, and pricing transparency. Brokers cannot be verified, only carriers. Being listed as 'not verified' is not an accusation. It means the company has not met the verification criteria or has not applied.
The plaintiffs' position is that being listed as 'not verified' damages their reputation. The NCCDB data suggests their reputation challenges predate and exist independently of any platform listing. A combined 907 federal complaints across three companies, all in the same Florida city, represents a pattern that no website listing created.
