Beware of JK Moving!! 'What matters most to you, matters most to us' is merely their slogan. My travertine marble table top was shattered and the crew refused to remove debris from the broken table. Every piece of our bedroom furniture was dented, dinged or scratched. My grandmother's china, our crystal, and Thanksgiving platter was shattered despite boxes clearly marked 'Fragile.' Despite $15,000 insurance, we ultimately received a proposed settlement of $499 months later. After extensive correspondence with the claims department and general manager, we received an additional $300. We were never credited for the 2.5 hours we were overcharged for, including 1 hour for the crew's lunch and 1 hour for their failed attempt to reassemble our bed.

Utilized JK moving services three times in the past year for packing and moving needs ($53,000 total). The quality of service has DRASTICALLY declined. Both parts of the move were plagued with inefficiencies, rude crew members that blatantly ignored requests. A broken television due to the crew packing it in a TV box along with half of the other items in our office. Ruined drywall due to the crew forcing large cardboard packaging up and down our stairwells. If you want your property to go from brand new to scuffs, scrapes and visible signs of wear in a few hours, JK is the company for you. This company takes the crown for worst moving services we've experienced to date.

Look Elsewhere. We had several items DAMAGED or BROKEN in the move, including a small wine fridge, two lamps, and a desk. JK Moving DENIED the claim for the damage. We paid EXTRA specifically for full value damage protection and, despite paying this, they refused to cover what they broke. Since they refused the claim, we are going elsewhere and would NOT recommend this company despite whatever other reviews might say.

If I could give zero stars I would. The service is absolutely reprehensible. 'Clarke' showed up for an in-house estimate. After I signed and gave a deposit, 'Clarke' dropped off the face of the earth, never to be heard from again. I did not receive any communication at all for weeks. When the movers showed up, they were completely uninformed. All the instructions I had given were never conveyed to the crew. My beautiful handmade table was dismantled and all hardware was unaccounted for — the table was not supposed to be disassembled! Now I can't put it back together. Never, ever, ever would I refer this company to anyone.

Beyond great experience with JK moving. Highly recommended. Their arrival window was 8-10am and they arrived promptly at 8am. They were so quick at packing everything up, moved everything with ease, moved everything safely to the new house, rebuilt everything as it was, and finished really quickly. Our moving coordinator also was great and checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly.
