Contracted through Petrolino Moves (Dave Mesa, Alex Ferrini). Bait and switch all the way through. Starts with a ridiculously low bid. Half up front deposit. Week before move, new contract with increased price and deposit had to be wire transfer. Day of move, rented moving truck shows up and 3 workers, 2 literally fell out of truck. They were late, looked hung over and were high on arrival. Spent 3.5 hours in driveway. Foreman spent 30 minutes doing inventory, the other 3 hours was sitting, visiting and at least 3 altercations amongst themselves (2 physical, 1 very physical). After 3.5 hrs a new estimate was sent from a company never heard of, Rapid Relo, 4x original bid and 3x the second. Consumer said no. Neither original contact was reachable. Receptionist at office tried to inform consumer of penalty of losing deposit. Consumer informed her that losing $3,800 is better than losing $31,000. Boss/owner (another Alex) called trying to strong arm consumer into new estimate, said deposit is forfeit for work already done (30 mins inventory). Consumer was robbed $3,800.
