Gentle Giant is very reliable and reputable. I was very, very happy with them. I think I paid a couple thousand last time I used them.

I love Gentle Giant. Fast, efficient, and you will have no issues. They even make sure to handle anything you have concerns about very gently. They pay their people good wages so they tend to quote higher than others. But I've found it was absolutely worth it.

2nding Gentle Giant. I've hired them for three moves over the past decade, each and every time it went perfectly. They offer a pack and move option as well, which definitely helps reduce stress during a move.

I used Gentle Giants twice and they were great.

We loved Gentle Giant last time we used movers, 20 years ago.

We used Gentle Giant to move to East Somerville, combining two households, one from East Arlington and one from Central Square Cambridge. They were reliable and the cost was reasonable. That was in 2002, however, so the cost estimate would not be relevant now.

Seconding Gentle Giant, some of the nicest guys I have ever dealt with. Used them for Weymouth-Everett. Furniture only for living room and 2br was a little over $1,500. We moved everything smaller ourselves but was worth every penny to not have to deal with large awkward things, and especially not having to worry about damage with full replacement insurance through them.

Gentle Giant was $305/hour for a 3 man crew when I got an estimate a few months ago if that helps. They are always on the high end compared to most places but have a good reputation.

Michael's Movers quoted $1900-2300 for a condo move (JP to Roslindale) furniture and boxes with a 3-person crew. Gentle Giants quoted closer to 2200-2300.

I did a full service move from Allston to Somerville back in April. This was four weeks post-discharge from the hospital after almost losing my foot so these people literally took the silverware out of drawers and packed everything for me. They provided all packing materials. It was $4300 + tips. Gentle Giant. 2 bed, 1 bath apartment.

Gentle giant wanted to charge me $1200 for something that was gonna take no more than 2hrs total as I didn't have a lot
