| 5/5 | The best moving company weve ever hired. We moved quite a bit over the last five years, but stands out is these men are well educated, very careful to everything in the house, and proactive. Also a key point to anybody that has moved is they would pick up the empty boxes in the wrapping paper. If we are moving again, no doubt we will ask platinum movers to help us. I had less than 48hrs to move out and he alone how single handed managed to get my entire one bedroom furnished apartment out of my place wrapped up and put in storage nice and neat! Platinum Movers was one of my recommendations as they had impeccable yelp reviews. It was a large home and was definitely a big task as they were moving their items to multiple locations. My clients called a few companies for quotes and ended up going with Platinum Movers. Not only were they extremely fair with their quote, but they were above and beyond for my clients. They really took their time to wrap and pack each item. They also did a great job labeling being that EVERYTHING made it to the correct location. | 1/5 | Run. Dont Walk. Platinum Movers is the kind of company that reminds you why people dread moving. They showed up two hours late without so much as an apology. The crew? Rough around the edges and couldnt be bothered to crack a smile. But the real gut-punch came at the end, after walking through our entire home and giving us a firm quote, they decided to double the price on the day of the move. No shame. No explanation. Just a wildly inflated bill and a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. After 15 minutes of back-and-forth with the owner, I still got squeezed for about 25% more than I was originally quoted. It felt like a bait-and-switch, plain and simple. | James Margolies | |

He even said he would come over the next day to see what he could do after I sent him pictures. Owner no called/no showed.
