There is a long discussion of the company on MovingScam, where people noted that there is a disreputable company in IL with the name Olympic Moving and Storage. This company is completely unrelated to the one in IL. According to its website it was Wheaton Van Line's Agent of the Year for 2007 and it has a branch in VA run by the owner's brothers. A Wheaton driver told one of the MovingScam moderators that he thinks both branches are very good. 'Michelle Reccut' posted a generally good review of her move with Olympic to VA in 7/05, saying that there was a little damage but claims were paid promptly and fairly, and the furniture reparation sent by the company was excellent. Olympia was recommended to her by Coldwell Banker. 'JGNY' moving to DC posted in 6/08 that she liked the Olympia estimator, Kevin Doherty, who gave her a reasonable intrastate estimate comparable to Humboldt's. She mentioned that a woman at her law firm had used Olympia three times and was very pleased.
