I had a terrible experience with Great Nation Moving. We were relocating our belongings from Maryland. They initially provided an estimate, but once they had our belongings, they drastically increased the price by $3,000–$4,000. This was completely unfair and dishonest. Not only did they change the price, but they were also not on time. Our items were not delivered as scheduled, and the final cost was far from what they originally estimated. This company is not trustworthy. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from them.

Please do not use this company! They gave us a quote. We had every item packed and contained. Took them 11 hours to load. This move was to a storage unit — not into a house. Arrived at the storage unit and they would not unload unless we paid them twice what we owed. After all of that we are missing a lot of items. Do NOT use this company.

Google reminded me of this review and so I have to update it. The quality rapidly dropped. First, the communication was very poor. They told me I would originally get a temp of dates when my things would be picked up/dropped off but then once it was closer to the date I would have notice of when the specific date was. They then tried to give me less than 14 hours notice, which I couldn't make work and so had to push back on. They did move things around but this was needlessly stressful. Horrible time.
