Quoted
$3,500
Actual
$6,719
Quoted approximately 3,500 for interstate move to North Carolina. Told United Moving Express would handle move directly, not outsource. Day before pickup, informed price nearly doubled due to original inventory being improperly documented. Movers arrived in a U-Haul with no company branding. Driver Eddie from a different company demanded additional payment via Cash App to American Pro Moving. Invoice from Interstate Moving. Movers lacked protective materials, scuffed walls, tracked dirt. One mover quit mid-job over pay dispute (told it was a small job, would receive approximately 60 dollars). Driver lost U-Haul keys, smoked cigarettes and left butts in truck. Truck parked in front of home for three days. Multiple companies involved: Safeway (dispatch), American Pro Moving (payment), Interstate Moving (invoice), All State Moving (truck). Marble table, mattress, headboard, antique brass bed not covered. Only 2 TV boxes for 4 televisions. Consumer has recordings, photos, texts, payment records documenting everything.
