Hired Menards to move from California to Texas with storage until finding a place to live. Menards lost almost half of belongings. Items that were received were damaged and all boxes had been opened and gone through. Charged triple the original estimate. Once move started, could only pay cash (not disclosed upfront). Menards does not return calls, emails, or messages. Had consumer file claims with two insurance companies. One no longer covered Menards. The other denied because Menards did not have correct paperwork ("it was lost"). Consumer has been dealing with this for 16 months with no resolution. Approximately $7,000 in lost items. All boxes opened and searched. Broken items throughout.
