SCAM ALERT: PREDATORY BAIT AND SWITCH - DO NOT HIRE! They quoted me $550. Once they had all my belongings loaded onto their truck, the extortion began. They held my items hostage and refused to release them unless I signed a new contract. Without my authorization, they automatically deducted $900 from my card, nearly double the quote! I walked up to the truck and caught one of them smoking weed. I literally caught them ASLEEP in the truck! DO NOT TRUST PAULY'S MOVERS.

They pretended to reassemble furniture — notably, my child's bed. They pushed the headboard against the wall, shoved the mattress in front, and left the screws hidden underneath. Days later, the headboard fell on my son. Luckily he's okay — but this was flat out dangerous. Was quoted $960 for a 2.5-hour move. Final invoice? $1,800+. Truck smelled strongly of marijuana when it arrived.

We were quoted $850 for a half day move less than 4 miles. The guys were over an hour late. They took over 8 hours to load. When the movers arrived to offload I was given a new price of $2,500 and our stuff would not be offloaded until paid. Over 40% of our things were damaged badly and the delivery guy had been drinking. I have been getting dodged for over a week about the claim.

OMG! Can I just say that when you find a gem of a moving company, you appreciate it like you want to give it a big hug?! Pauly's moving crew took on the job of moving two large, heavy, mirrored 4x8 curio cabinets that the original movers refused to complete. A truly amazing show of teamwork and what a moving company should be.

They showed up without any tools for disassembling furniture. When it was suddenly 'time to leave to get to another job' the kitchen remained entirely unpacked. They made sure to get the furniture into the back of the truck and lock it so that there was no choice but to follow them. Upon arrival, the price was increased and payment in full was demanded. A manager simply yelled and threatened a lawsuit if payment was not immediately given. NOTHING was reassembled. A few items are missing.
