Single disabled mother with adult daughter needed to move cross-country after eviction for remodeling. Alliance Moving and Storage (Boca Raton, FL broker) quoted $2,700. Required deposit of $1,300 paid via PayPal. Receipt came from "All Movers Billing" rather than Alliance. On May 30, 2021, driver arrived at storage unit, was rude, claimed items not packed properly, and began loading before consumer could review revised binding estimate or sign updated Bill of Lading. Cost increased significantly. No BOL copy provided, no tariff rates shown. After pickup, all calls went unanswered, blocked, or numbers disconnected. 90+ days later, belongings never delivered, location unknown. Consumer filed complaints with BBB in NJ and FL, FMCSA, DOT, FTC, NJ Attorney General, Ohio Public Utilities Commission. All family photos of deceased members, heirloom items, genealogy records lost.

Consumer contracted with Alliance Moving for job AL5463233. Items picked up August 26, 2020 and stored for one month before delivery. Missing items: Home Depot picture/TV box (42x37x6 inches) and three white cylindrical tubes taped together (120 inches long, 3 inch diameter). Received item that was not his (gray framed mirror). Carrier was Packrite Movers. Filed claims with claims form. Sent documents via priority mail with tracking confirmation of delivery on May 7, 2021. Claims specialist Rachelle Maureen Ochida never confirmed receipt. Multiple follow-up emails went unanswered. Claims never resolved.
