Moved from Honolulu to Baltimore MD in May 2025. Hired Hero Movers in Honolulu. Paid approximately 25 thousand dollars CASH. When household items were delivered by another company, they helped unpack and found a lot of broken items. Original movers did not pack items properly: wrapping 5 dessert plates together with newspapers, not wrapping glass items with any paper. Hero Movers UNWRAPPED a shoe cabinet that consumer had professionally wrapped, it was broken on all corners and doors smashed into cabinets. Many items broken. Consumer contacted shipping company and left several voicemails, 4 months with no reply. Gabe at Hero Moving Company has not responded to any claims. Consumer is an elderly woman who needs to sleep with legs elevated on a Tempur Pedic medical bed. Movers packed bed in one box and put remote control in a separate box with clothes. Consumer slept on recliner for months before buying a recliner couch. Still looking for bed remote. Consumer has taken many pictures and videos and has paperwork and Bill of Lading that is unable to read. Follow-up: After consumer threatened to file complaint with insurance company and seek arbitration, Gabe responded hours later claiming he was there.
