I had a great experience with the three guys from Sebastian Movers. They arrived early, were ready to work immediately, and stayed focused the entire time. The job was completed quickly and efficiently, with great care taken throughout the move. I also really appreciated that they charge by the hour — fair, transparent, and no surprises.

Danny, the owner, stays personally involved in the entire moving process. He actually came to my house two days before the move to make sure that his crew could move my enormous Peloton treadmill. Everything about this company is professional. Don't make the mistake of trying to contact equipment movers for heavy equipment.

Sebastian Moving was top notch from the beginning to the end, from the in-person quote all the way through a 10 hour move day. They arrived on time with two trucks and 8 men. All 8 men were attentive during the initial walk through, which helped tremendously with loading the truck.

I don't understand the high ratings. They did an ok job. It's not really a full service company. They offered packing but brought no packing supplies and relied on us for things like tape, equipment, etc. Danny basically hires a Uhaul and local people to do loading/unloading. The people who loaded weren't who unloaded. Furniture was chipped, boxes were unloaded without reading the labels.

The day of the move was a nightmare. They were hours late (no credit given), broke a very expensive lamp and the movers argued about who broke it. The owner never tried to get in touch with me regarding the lamp. I got charged for an extra hour when they got 'lost' driving to the new apartment even though travel time was already paid for. Absolutely unprofessional.

They broke an heirloom, wouldn't pay unless I agreed to not posting a negative review. Was yelled at by the owner on the phone after the move because it was more than double the cost of what I was quoted. I tipped anyway, but after being yelled at and losing an irreplaceable heirloom, I regret it.
