The packing crew was excellent. They worked quickly and efficiently, and were friendly and professional throughout the process. Before getting started they met with us to review what would and would not be packed, and they checked in throughout.

There was continuous communication during my scheduled moving day, they were very careful with my belongings during unloading, and made sure the set-up met my satisfaction.

Overpriced | $2,000+. Service was far from premium. Furniture was dropped on the floor throughout the move without apology, boxes packed without paper. I watched them scratch the floors, drop furniture recklessly, and lie to my face. I paid $2650 plus a $104 deposit. I think there are a lot of fake reviews.

In August of 2018 one of the workers stole a jar of money while loading my belongings. Almost three years later and I have yet to find that jar of money. I distinctly remembering one of the workers dropping something in his car before going to 7-11.

Potomac Moving Company is excellent. My wife and I had a similar move to yours in July 2018, but in reverse. They helped move us from a crowded 1 bedroom apartment in Dunn Loring to a house in Leesburg. They will wrap up and protect all of your furniture with padding during the move, and will provide the truck. You can just tell the lead foreman what needs to happen while they work. I want to say that the whole thing was around $500 with tip, and the team was very quick and efficient.

We had a local move, the team was very accommodating with a short term change of plans. The team that was sent out was very professional, and worked quickly. Frequently checked in on what was intended to be moved and took very good care of all of our stuff.

The team sent to me were not professionals. Two workers were dead weight and had to continuously be instructed by the lead. I was charged for an extra hour likely due to the skillset of the crew sent to me.
