We had everything you could ever imagine, from a 4 person sauna, a 750 lb smoker, an entire gym with full weight set, to everything in our former five bedroom house!! | 5/5 | This team was beyond incredible. From being hyper efficient and impressive with packing and unpacking, to being so friendly and kind even when hiccups were thrown their way. The truck couldnt make it up our new driveway so without a pause they hauled all our items all the way uphill and placed them perfectly. We would always use this team when moving and cannot recommend them enough. John was also such a star checking in on us in person before and showing up mid move to ensure we felt good. This particular move was a complicated high end move from Santa Barbara to 2 locations in Dallas. John Bennett was responsive and super organized. They packed each item with care, asked questions when they werent sure of where to place boxes in the new location, and were patient when we decided where furniture needed to be placed. | 3/5 | My ETA was 11am-2pm. I cleared my calendar for that timeframe, leaving me enough time to pick up my grandson at 4pm. I contacted my office to let them know I would be at work at 3/3:30pm and that the moving crew was finishing up a nearby job and would be there shortly. Time passed, and no moving crew by 3pm so I called (3:15). They could not tell me a definitive time the crew would arrive, and Im nervous that I wouldnt be able to pick up my grandson and would have to find an alternative. I hated telling staff I was gone. The crew arrived at 4:40pm. I give this move only a C because the expectation I had based on the original ETA was non-existent and I had communicated the need to pick up my grandson by a certain. | 1/5 | They got us moved, but it was a chaotic, frantic disorganized and very overwhelming experience. The driver were not told our correct address, so we sat two hours while they tried to find new route! They got it a big hurry after that, and left us with tall towers of boxes too heavy for us to lift. Quite nightmarish for the next few days. Could not find anything because they packed all of our carefully labeled boxes into larger boxes and taped them all closed. Would not use these movers again. | Penny Metcalf |
