L'Goff Moving Services

This was my 5th time using L'Goff Moving, and once again Kyle and his team exceeded every expectation. They recently handled a long-distance, out-of-state move for my daughter, and the entire process was prompt, efficient, and completely stress-free. Josh, the lead mover and a long-time employee, was outstanding as always.

My husband and I were moving from Athens to Florida. We came across L. Goff and it couldn't have been a better decision. They arrived on time the day of the move and got right to work. They were extremely respectful, hardworking, and also fun too.

Two of the movers were careless with my furniture throughout the move, hitting doors, walls, and even the chandelier in the apartment lobby. One of the movers even decided to use my toilet without flushing. I was asked to give credit card info over the phone via one of the movers' cell phones, in front of the movers.

The owner called me and harassed me on the phone, blaming me for their errors to the point that I had to hang up. He then called me several more times in a row which I declined to pick up. This is unacceptable business behavior. Further update: I have also contacted Google. You did harass me on the phone, accusing me of being at fault. When I hung up because you were yelling at me, you called me several more times.

Damaged my floors, did not do what we hired them to do. They didn't come with any tools and said they couldn't assemble. Kyle couldn't be bothered to call us back. Kyle called after this review was posted — left a voicemail that he hasn't charged us yet because he wants to work out a fair price. We were charged the full amount the next day before we had a chance to call back. He implied it was our fault because we asked them to remove plastic wrapping. I don't have a couch.

Do not pay for them to pack your things. They'll break everything you care about and then say it's your fault for not paying them extra. My brand new bedframe rails had been ripped out, two vintage lamps (one 40+ years old, gifted by someone who had passed away) were broken because they were shoved into boxes with other items piled on top. Total ~$880 in damage. All they could offer was a few cents per pound since we didn't pay for insurance.
