| 5/5 | I wanted to share my gratitude to Russell and Daniel for the excellent service they provided through Happy Home moving company. They were on time, worked hard and fast. They were diligent, wrapped furniture so perfectly. There were no damages. I would highly recommend them, and will definitely use them again for the next move. Thanks again. | Monique Moberg | |
| 5/5 | Our experience moving was so easy and lovely thanks to Happy Home Moving. We used this company in the past and had a fantastic experience. This time was somehow even better (despite all the stairs and corners our movers had to work with). We would definitely recommend using their services!! If we could give more than 5 stars we would! | Dylan Jay | |
| 5/5 | Hired an east moving team from my move from OC to RPV. The moving process was seamless and every mover was very professional and proactive in getting my delicate items and furniture in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend them to anyone moving! | Joshua Uhn | |
| 5/5 | Warner and Baie did such a great job with my move. I moved from Comta to East Hollywood and these guys had the job done within 3.5 hours! Everything was prepped well and nothing was damaged through it all. Highly recommend! | Armen Kurdian | |
| 5/5 | Eric, Alex, and Didilan were the best! They were professional and on time. They took care of all our things, wrapping and handling with care. They placed all the furniture where we needed them without hesitation. We moved from LA to Santa Clarita, and it was great working with them! We would definitely recommend them! | Michele Ferri | |
| 5/5 | I have used this company twice in the last year and a half in the Sacramento area. Last year we bought a new home and I needed the furniture moved for 2 of the bedrooms. I literally booked them the day before. They took the beds apart, wrapped everything, moved fast, and put it all back together in the new house. Fast forward a year and half, we moved my daughter to an apartment in Davis because she is attending UCD. Again, I was able to book last minute. The movers took her bed apart and wrapped and packed everything quickly. When they arrived at the new location they guided us in the best way to layout the furniture (because the room was smaller and my daughter clearly didn't have the best plan) and then unpacked quickly. Overall, they were professional, pleasant, and FAST both times. Moving is not fun and I appreciate them making the experience easier. | Vina Guzman | |
| 5/5 | Had a good experience with Happy Home Moving. My movers were Tim and Edward, both were very polite and courteous. Will use them again if I have to move in Pasadena. | Susanna Shamim | |
| 5/5 | We just moved and we had Alex, Azamat and Andrey. They were all very professional, quick and efficient. I would recommend them. We also got a call from the company while they were moving us to check on the progress of the move, that was very nice as well. | Kelli Fonvergne | |
| 5/5 | Ivan, Alex, and Adam were great! It took a bit longer than anticipated but overall the guys were kind, professional and packed everything great. | Jacque Gonzalez | |
| 5/5 | Dolph & Pavel were quick and didn't break anything, they did force me to leave a 5 star review and wouldn't leave until I did. Also after I tipped $20 they told me I needed to tip more since they didn't break anything. It was very weird. | Savannah Perry | |
| 5/5 | These guys are tough! Oaesar and Pavel moved my whole place in just a few hours. They even moved my squat rack. My only complaint is that they showed up a little later, but that is because they got in a small accident. They got to work as soon as they got here and didn't stop until the work was done. I didn't see any damages despite awkward corners and stairs. | Andy Chen | |
| 5/5 | This is the 3rd time I have used Happy Home Moving and each time they have made moving easy. I hate moving, but the team at Happy Home eases the stress. They did a great job with moving everything safely. | Sheena Pinal | |
| 5/5 | Overall these guys did a great job on my small move. They require a 3 hour min. but I only used about half the time, so had to pay for all of it. I needed a bed and table and chairs moved from a home into storage. They wrapped everything very well. Once the items were out of the garage they helped reorganize the garage. I wish I would have had more for them to do since I was paying for 3 hours. These guys work fast. We had a slight miscommunication on the location of the storage unit but that was the only issue. Once at storage they organized these items in the most space efficient way. | Lisa Tatum | |
| 4/5 | Very good movers they charge by the hour. The Saturday rate was $149 per hour (cash) and $179 per hour (credit). The only thing I wish they were a bit faster, but overall they did a very good job without damaging anything! Would use them again for sure. | Snit Lakhost | |
| 2/5 | Poor service, poor customer service, very displeased. I moved on July 13th, 2022. When I spoke on the phone with Ben, I was quoted that it would be around a 4 hour job. I understand there is some wiggle room needed to allow for hiccups. However, this job took a total of 6 hours, 2 full hours past what I was quoted. As I watched the movers work, it felt as if they did not have a sense of urgency at all, and were purposefully stretching their time. I also saw the workers taking breaks (which is fine) however that time was not deducted from my cost, even though the FAQ on your website says the customer does not pay for breaks. Time aside, I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. At point A (the apartment we were moving out of), the movers knocked over a glass bottle full of liquid. Accidents happen! However they did not communicate with me that they broke it, nor did they clean up the glass or liquid. I had to find it, and clean it up, after they left. At Point B (the apartment we were moving to), more problems arose. They did not place items where I instructed. Movers I have used in the past would set things up exactly as I directed, including unwrapping the plastic and plugging things in. Furthermore, we noticed the following things after they left: A dented lampshade (picture attached). A chip in my desk. A cigarette butt on our living room floor. The movers entered our bathroom without asking (we were keeping our service animals in there) and used the restroom without washing their hands (as we had yet to put soap out in that bathroom). This is not only unprofessional but also a safety hazard. I paid over $700 for this service, and I am incredibly disappointed in my experience. | Erin Costello | |
| 1/5 | DO NOT USE HAPPY HOME MOVING, PLEASE! Go with another company for your own peace of mind!! I have used them several times before, and even had left them a positive Yelp review in the past. But this time, it was an UTTER DISASTER. They damaged the home we were moving out of, many pieces of furniture, and the home we were moving into. This even included BREAKING A WALL, which can be seen in my photos. They also lost or broke small bits of furniture that make them unusable (bookshelf shelf holders, a wheel off a rolling bin, etc.) I have started an email thread with them the same night as our move to track all the damage we were discovering as we unpacked and unwrapped things. They kept saying they would look into things. We followed up a week later, and they are IGNORING ALL DAMAGE and refuse to do anything. Even though we have a history of multiple moves with them (3+), and have never complained with prior moves, they refuse to believe me. I have included photos of just SOME of the damage. Please, please watch out. I feel it is important to know that if their movers do any damage to your belongings, the company will side with them as long as they deny it, and you will get no help. | Elizabeth Chun | |
| 1/5 | This was hands down one of the worst moving experiences I have ever had. Which was extremely unfortunate, considering they were recommended to me by a close friend. The movers broke my bed and then lost multiple pieces after taking it apart, making it impossible to reassemble. They proved almost an hour late, took two full days to complete a job that should have taken one, and then had the nerve to overcharge me multiple times throughout the process. What made this experience even worse was the management team, who were rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional when I raised these issues. Despite clear overbilling and documented damage, they refused to issue a refund for the amount I was overcharged. The workers themselves appeared inexperienced and untrained, which clearly contributed to the damage and delays. Because the company refuses to take accountability, I am now forced to dispute the charges through my bank and pursue legal action. Save yourself the stress, lost money, and damaged furniture. There are far better and more professional moving companies out there. I was quoted a little over $300s and ended up spending Over $1000!! | Rasheen Wilkins | |
| 1/5 | Worst experience ever. They took 2 full hours to move a one-bedroom apartment with fewer than 15 boxes, plus a TV and a bed. On top of that, it took them 30 minutes to drive just 1.5 miles to the new apartment. It honestly felt like the movers were intentionally working slowly to reach the 3-hour minimum and charge extra. When I raised this issue, customer service completely denied responsibility. This was by far the most frustrating moving experience I have ever had. I have used four different moving companies, and this one is the worst by far. I really recommend searching for other moving company and don't get fooled by their 4.9 star reviews. | Jeffrey K | |
| 1/5 | In a few words, this company took 2x longer than what was scoped by them, damaged some items and lost small pieces to another, and denied damage to those items. I even had to help the movers myself at the end because of how long it was taking. Just pay the extra money and go with another company. It will be cheaper and safer in the long run. | Brittany | |
| 1/5 | I would give zero stars if I could. This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. I live in a one-bedroom apartment, and the movers arrived with one person who didn't speak English well, so the other guy did most of the talking. From the start, he complained that I had too much stuff, and that was all I heard all day. The move took 10 hours, but they charged me double time for driving, so it ended up being 11. I have at now $1,500. I wasn't prepared for that cost. The treatment of my items, some of which were damaged, was unacceptable considering the amount of money I paid. I also gave them a cash tip, and we bought them lunch, but I am almost sure the lead mover didn't share the tip with his assistant. One guy did most of the moving, the truck was very small maybe 12 and we had to load up on their own truck because they didn't have enough space. I refused to pay for a second trip, and we had to go back the next day to finish loading ourselves. I have had similar moves in the past with the same amount of stuff, and it was always done with two guys and a 17-foot truck. My belongings were contracted and not safely moved in under 5 hours. I have never paid this much money for a local move except when I moved from a different state. We had everything organized to make it easier, but these movers were unprepared. Given the complaints, damaged items, excessive cost, and lack of preparation, I would not recommend this company to anyone. What a nightmare!! | Vanity DOLLZ | |
| 1/5 | AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My experience with Happy Home Moving was extremely frustrating. The movers were over 40 minutes late to start the job, and what should have been a simple job turned into an all-day disaster. It took them over 2 hours to unload our storage unit, and their excessive travel time added unnecessary delays. Worse, when they arrived at the new storage facility, they caused a serious accident that damaged the property and delayed the move even further. 3 hours later, they still had not started unloading, despite the entire day being wasted with delays. AND THEY CHARGED US FOR THE TIME to scan their damage issues with the property. To make matters worse, the movers attempted to withhold personal ID and coerce us into paying over $900 before the job was done! There was no contract and no Bill of Lading provided to us before the job began, which was a red flag to begin with for legal reasons. We made a huge mistake using them as there seemed to be several California law violations. If you value your time, money, and belongings, avoid this company at all costs. | Gabrielle Carrero | |
| 1/5 | WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER. The customer service at happy home moving was beyond horrendous. I am so disgusted and disappointed with my experience. The 3 movers arrived an hour late with only 2 wardrobe boxes, out of the 8 I requested. It then proceeded to take 3 hours trying to buy new wardrobes, and ultimately went back to base to retrieve them as the Home Depot boxes were too expensive. While 1 mover was doing this, the other mover essentially did not pack any additional items up. We spent several hours on the phone all day dealing with the worst customer service I have ever experienced, to be put on hold and told we will get a call back more than 10 times. Our team was unreasonable and incredibly rude. This ruined my partner and it is entire day. In addition, my partner and I did a lot of the packing ourselves and were even bringing items down the stairs and into the truck as the team was extremely slow. I will NEVER use this company again. | Nicole Ghaddi | |
| 1/5 | I would not recommend happy home moving even if you are moving a 2.1 bedroom apartment (like me) and in the same city (3 miles to be exact). The movers arrived over 1 hour late and didn't know we needed to go to a storage unit to get furniture (apart from the main apartment) until prior to the final delivery at a house, though I had mentioned this twice already. The truck was not big enough to fit the items in the apartment and they spent over an hour re-arranging just to make things fit, though this was still not possible. I had to take things in my own car. The movers were nice and respectful, but multiple times we saw them idle and doing things very slowly, rather than attempting to finish at a reasonable time, and it ended so late we were never able to stop by the storage unit so I had to do that by a 2nd move (with a different company of course). They estimated we should have finished the job by around 5PM (Thu) and instead we finished almost at midnight (~6hrs). Take in account that I was 3 movers and the apartment had an elevator (which that we didn't reserve for the move). Anyways, that is my experience and it was the longest most expensive move I have had (I have moved out of state though), plus some of the furniture got damaged. | Andrea Storms | |
| 1/5 | Stay away! I made the mistake of not checking the reviews. The movers were 1 hour late and then went on lunch as soon as they got there! The move was in the same building but somehow I am missing my bed, couch and cameras since I couldn't supervise the whole move! Currently filing a police complaint. | Dev S | |
| 1/5 | This company is awful, they broke one of my chairs I watched them place it back into the truck and attempt to fix it and bring it into the house. I followed behind them and checked that chair and the leg fell off of it. I explained that I support elderly ppl and someone could have sat in that chair and fell. Not to mention I paid them and my change was never returned, the damage my walls as they were moving items placed a waste chair on the middle of the street that left a stain. I emailed and called the company no response. | Misha Sheffield | |
| 1/5 | I made a reservation for a move 2 weeks in advance. We agreed on date and time. 2 days before the move I called to confirm, and they said oh we don't have anyone for that day. Update: they claim that I didn't want to provide deposit and that they have proof. Actually I called to sign a contract and as a result pay whatever deposit they need, they told me they don't sign a contract before the moving date, and the movers will bring a contract. Now I know why. I also have proof for what I say. | Farzad | |
| 1/5 | I would give this company a zero rating if it would allow me to. My husband and I hired this company through their partner company, Top Movers Global, on HomeAdvisor. Sadly, this was the worst move we have ever experienced, and the first time we hired a professional moving company. We had only moved a year ago, from Long Beach to Huntington Beach, with 2 college guys who had a pickup truck and a trailer. This same move, took 11 hours with Happy Home Movers. We had most of the boxes ready, for the 3 movers that arrived, in the garage. They moved very slowly and wrapped our furniture so excessively that it took several minutes to unwrap each piece. They charged us for their breaks, which was not supposed to happen, due to the contract. Any time we would speak to them about speeding up, seemed to slow them down further. We felt helpless and taken advantage of. We eventually asked them to put the furniture in the house, the boxes in the garage, and leave. Whilst moving the furniture in, they scratched paint, and damaged walls. On needless to say, we are not happy. After 11 hours, our move is not even complete. We are now having to move all of our stuff into our home, as our own. We have reached out to Top Movers Global to remedy this situation and we keep getting the run around. Avoid Happy Home Movers and Top Movers Global at all costs. | Monica Barbelo Garcia | |
| 1/5 | I recently worked with Happy Home Moving Company for a client's move, and while the movers themselves were excellent shoutout to Sasha and the crew for being punctual, respectful, and hardworking, the experience was completely soured by the office staff, specifically an individual named Steven (crew said that is not his real name but thats the name he uses in office). After a successful first day of moving (crew was tipped, job completed, contract fulfilled), there was zero follow-up or communication from the office about whether the team would return the next day to continue. The movers had mentioned that it might be a different crew and that the office would follow up, but no one did. I reached out multiple times via text and call with no response. Then, the next morning, the moving crew showed up expecting to continue a job that was not scheduled. While I was still waiting for the office to respond. Steven, who showed up late to the office, finally got in touch but offered no apology or professionalism. Instead of taking accountability, he expected me to communicate with his crew and manage the situation myself. Worse, he tried to charge me a $250 overnight storage fee because of his own scheduling failure and complete lack of communication. Steven made what should have been a seamless continuation into a frustrating mess that affected not only my but also my client. His attitude was unprofessional and dismissive, and he clearly lacks the communication and logistical skills required for his role. To be clear: the moving crew is amazing and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. But management should seriously reconsider who they put in charge of client communication and scheduling. If Steven remains in the office, I would strongly suggest working with a different company altogether. If you do decide to work with the company ask to speak with Sasha, she was amazing and the movers themselves were incredible. It sucks I had to leave a bad review all because of one individual that ended up costing me thousands out of my own pocket due to his lack of accountability. | Samuel Farmer | |
| 1/5 | I hired them for our move. They got everything to the new house, but damaged our hardwood floor, damaged the corner of our dresser, and broke the freezer basket in our refrigerator. They claim to be insured, as I informed them of the damage. They only admitted to damaging the dresser since I saw them do it, and I was never reimbursed for anything. This moving company was careless with my things and didn't take responsibility. | Michael Steiner | |
| 1/5 | Avoid booking this company's services. My experience was terrible. They arrived without the tools to disassemble my belongings and displayed a lack of professionalism. Additionally, they broke my massage chair, refused to take any responsibility, and even forged my signature on the finishing agreement to avoid paying for the damages. | Summer Wong | |
| 1/5 | I had a truly awful experience with Happy Home Movers. What should have been a simple move across to the other side of the building turned into a 16-hour ordeal. To make matters worse, they charged me $2,500 for the move. As a woman moving alone, I felt completely taken advantage of. | Andrea Albright |
I wanted to share my gratitude to Russell and Daniel for the excellent service they provided through Happy Home moving company. They were on time, worked hard and fast. Had a good experience with Happy Home Moving. My movers were Tim and Edward, both were very polite and courteous. Will use them again if I have to move in Pasadena.

We just moved and we had Alex, Azamat and Andrey. They were all very professional, quick and efficient. I would recommend them. We also got a call from the company while they were moving us to check on the progress of the move, that was very nice as well.
Kelli Fonvergne
Ivan, Alex, and Adam were great! It took a bit longer than anticipated but overall the guys were kind, professional and packed everything great.
Jacque Gonzalez
Dolph & Pavel were quick and didn't break anything, they did force me to leave a 5 star review and wouldn't leave until I did. Also after I tipped $20 they told me I needed to tip more since they didn't break anything. It was very weird.

I have never paid this much money for a local move except when I moved from a different state. We had everything organized to make it easier, but these movers were unprepared. Given the complaints, damaged items, excessive cost, and lack of preparation, I would not recommend this company to anyone. What a nightmare!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER.

I would not recommend happy home moving even if you are moving a 2.1 bedroom apartment (like me) and in the same city (3 miles to be exact).

Stay away! I made the mistake of not checking the reviews. The movers were 1 hour late and then went on lunch as soon as they got there! The move was in the same building but somehow I am missing my bed, couch and cameras since I couldn't supervise the whole move! Currently filing a police complaint.

This company is awful, they broke one of my chairs I watched them place it back into the truck and attempt to fix it and bring it into the house.

I made a reservation for a move 2 weeks in advance.

I would give this company a zero rating if it would allow me to.

I recently worked with Happy Home Moving Company for a client's move, and while the movers themselves were excellent shoutout to Sasha and the crew for being punctual, respectful, and hardworking, the experience was completely soured by the office staff, specifically an individual named Steven (crew said that is not his real name but thats the name he uses in office).

I hired them for our move.

Avoid booking this company's services. My experience was terrible. They arrived without the tools to disassemble my belongings and displayed a lack of professionalism. Additionally, they broke my massage chair, refused to take any responsibility, and even forged my signature on the finishing agreement to avoid paying for the damages.

I had a truly awful experience with Happy Home Movers. What should have been a simple move across to the other side of the building turned into a 16-hour ordeal. To make matters worse, they charged me $2,500 for the move. As a woman moving alone, I felt completely taken advantage of.
