I MOVED SF TO LA WITH GOT2MOVE. crew called ahead, wrapped all my fragile stuff, and drop off was exactly within the time window. bill was exactly what they quoted over the phone.

I used got2move for a sf -> la move last year. crew was careful, showed up on time, and final price matched the quote. zero drama compared to my last broker nightmare.

I had similar good experience with Got2Move when moving from LA to Long Beach. Highly recommended, especially if you don't want to pack boxes, they packed quickly and super nicely.

I cannot speak to the quality of their moving services. However, their lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was deeply disappointing. Their team showed no regard for cleanliness or respect for the neighborhood, discarding trash on the street and leaving it behind. This kind of behavior not only reflects poorly on their company but also raises questions about the consideration they show in their attention to detail and respect for others are any indication of how they handle moves, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a more responsible and professional service.

I am not sure if it is because I am an American black woman but I had the absolute WORST experience with this company. The guys who showed up were not efficient at all. They took their sweet time on purpose to charge me an additional 3 hours. The apartment was not cluttered nor was there anything for them to pack. I had already packed everything. I acted as if I was going to the store but I stayed at the front on the side of my building to watch them. The guys were talking and laughing 10min per visit to their truck. I confronted them about it because an hour past and all they moved were 10 boxes and they got mad at me. Said I disassembled everything and that made things slower. They broke a leg off my $8000 couch and never told me. I reported it and the company did nothing but ask me to send them pictures I had already sent. They were supposed to wrap the pillows to the couch for protection, did not do it, they destroyed the cushions. By the end of the move I STILL had to move a lot of items they were supposed to place in the storage. I was already charged the additional nearly $500 for the 5 hours they hustled me for. They would not unload my things until I paid them, leaving me to go back to the bank while never explaining that and left my front door and patio wide open, told me nothing and I was gone for an hour. I was treated so poorly and the movers had the audacity to argue with me.

This company is a fraud, they moved me from San Francisco to LA and claimed to me professional movers. They wrapped my peloton screen with a cardboard box and shattered the entire screen and only offered $81 to me when it is a $2500 bike. They also cracked my 2,000 brand new bed frame. Do not trust these con artists.

Make Sure You Take Photos Before Pickup And After Drop Off, All My Furniture Had Damage (Deep scratches, chips, and Hives). I Personally Moved All Items In My Storage Unit. I did not use any movers before Flying Out this company. All Items Damaged by the company (My Couches, Dressers And Mattress were Sitting in Its natural positions) when I put them in my storage, the rest of my possessions Were in Taped Up Boxes. Ive Had the same furniture For 5 Years In and out of Storage Units Due To Traveling For work and Never Had any damage. The Damage I had Was consistent to dragging and no proper support around the edges of my furniture. I Never Leave Reviews But Im So Upset Looking at my furniture everyday After putting hard earned money and trust into this company.

Overall a nightmare. The older movers were mature, polite and very professional. Good people. The younger guy seemed to be in charge maybe because he spoke the most English. He was the most immature and unprofessional mover I have ever dealt with however, and made me regret choosing this company despite their food reviews. He complained about having to pack my stuff when it was costing me more money to get their help vs do it myself. This guy got wet and damaged the box of a souvenir a friend gifted me while packing. When I pointed it out, he got super defensive, denied it and then accused me of doing it. He yelled and screamed at me and insulted me at my old apartment. I called the company and demanded that they send me someone else which they said would take a few hours. The replacement guy never came. The company lied to me and forced me to work with their extremely rude and unprofessional worker the whole day. They had a lot of down time that I ended up paying for. Bad experience based mainly on that bad worker and I would never hire them again or recommend them to anyone else.

Had the same experience as the Alejandro below. In for a 1 bedroom $2000+ charge. It is a scam they move slow on purpose, go with a different company. For context, other companies moved the exact same items twice already in 4 Hrs. Silver lining. The guys were really nice.

Drove fine move until they break your valuables. Their website claims that they have high trained movers and high quality packing supplies. With over 10 years of experience, the move should be great. I went with this company based off of reviews. In the contract, it states that they do to packaging with a soft crating technique (combination of the use of bubble wrap, boxes/cartons, tape, moving pads and plastic wrap). Do not rely on them actually doing this and protecting your experience. They never used bubble wrap. If you claim to have highly professional employees and they completely destroy a persons property beyond repair and this never happens, then compensate them for the mistake.

Overview, $2,900. The movers essentially told (not asked) to tip at both the end of the pickup and the drop-off, which was rather aggressive. However Emily was very pleasant and easy to coordinate the move with.

The event went well, but it was ridiculously inefficient which resulted in a $3000+, 9+ hours move for 1 bedroom apartment (furniture, +3 boxes only). Loading: They definitely overwrapped some pieces of furniture (like the chairs, it took almost 15 minutes to wrap each chair, times 6 chairs). Unloading: Once again, they took things very slowly and blamed the elevator. After unloading everything and telling me the cost was almost $3200 (before the credit card fee), they even had the audacity to ask for a 20% tip. Even though I should not have tipped, I gave them ~$180 and then got an attitude from them. On the good side: They did not damage any of the furniture or the electronics (80 inch TV was handled okay). I have moved more than 8 times in my life and this was by far the most overpriced one. For reference, moving from SF to South Bay (further away) for the same furniture set plus all the boxes only costed me $960.

Be prepared to spend A LOT. Their hourly rate is very reasonable ($130/hr), but these guys are slow and just not very efficient, so the total fee due is much higher than you would expect since the job takes so long. We were running way behind schedule, it took my movers 3 hours to load and leave from the first location. It took them 9 hours ($130 x 9 hours + additional fees = about $1500). The movers dragged the metal beam from my bed and it scratched the hardwood floors in my new home. Really sad for a new homeowner. The reason this review is not a 1 star is because the two movers were professional and had great attitudes. But management refused to give me a concession on the final bill even though I expressed concern to Alex (manager) about timing during the second hour.

They got the job done for me and accommodated my change of plans multiple times. The only thing I am dissatisfied about is that they could not handle assembling complicated furniture. My electric adjustable desk was not correctly reassembled. The wires are not correctly connected, and some screws were lost during the move.

Art and Rusely were nice and worked hard. However, the move took much longer than expected (other moving companies estimated 3 hours and they took 5.5 hours). I was coerced to submit a review before they finished. After I wrote my review, they also coerced my husband to give them a bigger tip. So they wanted a tip of over $600 per person for the job after already paying a rate of $170 per hour, because the company gets most of the money. Overall, the guys did a good job and everything was moved very safely. But we felt they were a bit inefficient, should have brought 3 movers for the job, and we did not appreciate the push to write a review and increase our tip.

This review is long overdue as my move was completed three months ago. Firstly, I was sent numerous emails saying my movers would arrive between 8:00am and 9:00am. However, they did not arrive until 9:55am. Secondly, after a quick initial walkthrough of my 1-bedroom apartment with the three movers, they left to go back to the moving truck to get their supplies. While leaving my apartment I overheard one of the movers ask why three people and texting/laughing. Thirdly, and the most frustrating one for me, my movers FORGOT A SCREWDRIVER. Because I still had a bed that needed to be disassembled, the lead mover had to leave to go buy one. They were fast and efficient except for the screwdriver mishap. UPDATE: Emily has been very responsive in this matter and I greatly appreciate her customer service.

I hired Got2Move V5 Crew for my recent move, and they were great from start to finish. I had three movers, and they worked with me for about 5.5 hours. The team did not waste a second, they moved quickly, efficiently, and still treated my belongings with care and got my stuff unloaded within 30 minutes. They managed to get everything unloaded within the time limit and even assembled all my major furniture exactly where I needed it. I was especially impressed with how carefully they handled my China cabinet as it is something that has been in my family for over 30 years. Everything arrived safely with zero damage, which was a huge relief. Overall, the team was professional, fast, and respectful. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again for any future moves.

Reasonable price, $2,000+. The coordination and the movers were top notch. First off, they were the first to reach out to me when I requested quotes. Per kept in constant communication with me prior during and after the move. Second the guys were great. Efficient, fast but also careful. Great experience all around. Will definitely use Got2Move in the future.

Reasonable price, $1,000-1,600. Got2Move was great! I had the V5 crew and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Super fast and efficient while still taking great care of our stuff. It started raining at one point and they made sure to carefully and properly cover our bar/seatings so nothing would get damaged. Super communicative during the process and upfront about their pricing (our move took a total of 5.5 hours, one hour break in between that was not counted towards our moving time). I would highly recommend Got2Move again and be sure to ask for the V5 crew if you can!

I just used their moving service to move from Sunnyvale to Irvine and it was such a smooth process! I had some kitchen and garage items as well as a private room in a shared house. I was originally thinking of renting a U-Haul, loading and driving the 6-hr drive myself, but after communicating with Per I stopped worrying as much. On the day of the move, the movers arrived during the time they were about an hour out, which was perfect. They were efficient in packing my things and very polite and respectful. None of my items were missing or damaged! I appreciate how transparent the quoting and payment process was, and I would definitely move with them again.

$1,600+. I moved from an LA suburb to SF. The price was reasonable and cheaper or comparable to other quotes I got. The movers on both sides were efficient and took care of my things and my customer service agent Per always kept me in the loop. Would recommend for your move!

Reasonable price, $1,200. From the first phone call I made to Got2Move until after the move itself, the entire team was so informative, helpful, and professional! Communication was quick, thorough and frequent to ensure a smooth moving process. The team arrived on time and worked efficiently and effectively to safely pack all of our belongings. We are so grateful to the Got2Move team! This was our first time hiring movers and they exceeded all expectations! Their pricing was very reasonable compared to other companies I spoke with as well. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Team V5 for my recent move from San Francisco to Berkeley. They were tremendously helpful from start to finish: professional, communicative, and clearly experienced. What stood out most was how careful they were with my belongings. Furniture was handled with attention and respect, and nothing was damaged in transit. At the same time, they worked very efficiently, keeping the move on schedule without ever feeling rushed or careless. Moving can be stressful, but Team V5 made the entire process feel smooth and manageable. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful movers.
