Georgetown Movers

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They sent inexperienced movers to move my belongings. One of the guys it was their first day on the job. They put a gouge in my Hardwood floor because items weren't taped to palettes, they scraped my kitchen table and the glass center shattered to pieces, they ripped my comfort and sheets and scratched my freezer. Left my husbands weight bench pieces scattered and constantly on their phone. The company sent 2 additional workers but for any 3 hours to complete the job. The sales manager, Ashley was supposed to credit me for the hours the non-mover was there when moved 5 hours and they were supposed to only charge me $30 per hour for 1 additional worker. I haven't received a call back. NOBODY SHOULD BE PAYING HARDEARNED MONEY TO A COMPANY THAT WON'T HOLD THEIR EMPLOYEES ACCOUNTABLE. I have been calling back promptly. We have had to sell or reach out PCO. MAKING THIS RIGHT. It's a shame because we've used this company before and the last experience was horrific.

Not good. The moving crew arrived on time and it took an hour and 4 to load up, but then almost took 3 hours which in large part due to the 3 guys getting lost on the way taking like a 45 min trip in what shouldnt have been more than 20 min. I was charged a 0.5 hour lunch break for the time that was assessed to be the company's fault. I was told that if a refund was refused but they are stating there is no refund as they don't give refunds for being late. I missed a 0.5 hour charge. In addition the 0.5 hours for a lunch being removed. I am extremely confused. Their customer service is lacking when it's a 10 minute drive time between destinations. I got an email stating all this as the manager never wants to provide me the sales team to talk to man I called through customer service. Definitely always believe patterns and if you't want a way to cut corners MAS. And, now I'm annoyed I past the crew so to top this which will not be something I do moving forward is the DMV area because these companies are a nightmare.

Worst moving company I have ever used. Because of constant smoke breaks, getting lost on route to my destinations, scratch boards, and other unnecessary delays/pauses I was forced to pay for, they took more than double the estimated time and charged me for the whole thing. Not only that, but they were careless in moving my larger furniture, and a few of my boxes had broken fragile items by the time they finished the job. The movers themselves were unprofessional, content profanity, worked very slow, and obviously could not care about their job. Overall, do not use this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I hired them to move my possessions out of my apartment in DC. They called me the morning of my scheduled move and said they needed to reschedule for the following day because one of their employees was sick. The following morning, they called me at about 10:30am to say they rescheduled to C-P PMG and they were not coming at all. When I asked for compensation, they said no one was available to talk. My husband and I rented a van and moved most of our items ourselves. Unbelievably lost experience.
