Even though the extra stairs nearly doubled the original quote and came to $995, the movers realized that my mistake in logistics was just that, a mistake, and still gave me a drastic reduction from full price. | 1/5 | Am currently sitting at Extra Space storage while the owner has stolen my belongings despite telling him I would pay for this time on this move. He wants me to pay for their workers to sit and watch me pack at $200/hr and refuse to even help make a box. They used a very expensive painting as a divider in the truck. The boxes were crushed in the truck. They want to bill me 2 hrs work for just showing up today, plus 15 hours yesterday. So $3K. Plus I have to hire someone else and now they just took off with my belongings. I should never have given them the key to the truck. | L.D | |
