| 1/5 | AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Our experience with FlatRate was riddled with issues and horrible customer service. It feels like we were scammed. Furniture arrived smashed. Very expensive custom piece of furniture (over $2,000) broken. They are offering $300 in compensation. Per the contract we e-signed, you will select your level of liability later on the bill of lading, but not only did we not select our level of liability, this was not explained nor was the bill of lading even presented. To make things worse it took them almost 21 days to deliver my belongings after my pick up in Dallas. Customer service did nothing for me.
