| 5/5 | DC Moving saved the day for us, after the movers we had booked in advance no-showed us twice. Lili answered my phone call the Sunday right before before Memorial Day and helped me schedule a move the next day. She was accommodating about costs, payment options, and timeline, and she answered all of my questions honestly and without trying to upsell. Their prices are competitive for the area (even for my last-minute move, which was fair). The moving team, Christian, John, and Rafael, arrived early (after calling us to check if that was ok) and were efficient, careful, and kind. They checked in about fragile items before loading the truck and took our preferences into account when unloading items into our new apartment. I hope to not have to move anytime soon, but if I do or know a friend who is, I'll recommend DC Moving in a heartbeat. | Sophie G | |

All the items were wrapped, carefully placed and secure onto the truck. Upon arrival they placed the boxes in the labeled areas all even helped fix some objects that the previous moving company had damaged. They truly care about the customer and their belongings. The movers (Oleg and Inna) were prompt, fast yet careful, final price. They were so fast that I had to hustle to be sure I got to the destination before them and got the high floor elevators going. They moved a studio apartment's worth of stuff from 1 destination to another in less than 3 hours. Transit time was 40min. Truly amazing. Definitely a go to company. | Geoffrey Ling | |

| 1/5 | UPDATE: We were contacted to remove the Yelp review. If I could give a negative star review, I would. Moving in was easy, but getting stuff out of storage, boy oh boy, there were so many red flags. We specifically told them that we were military and if they had base access and they assured us that they did. On moving day, 2 out of the 3 movers did not have base access so our already late moving day was a nightmare. The guy that came with us was so slow. In fact have access let it pushed the time back a lot, so big deal. Two movers come 6 let my husband know that there was a scratch on the wall and there was not. We noticed it later. We were paying them to move our stuff but we let it go. Fast forward to them actually moving stuff. Honestly a snail could have gone faster than the movers that day. They didnt come with no dollie or nothing to help them move faster and were taking them item by item, no matter how big or small. The lady we spoke to stated that because we didnt include the elevator or 3 floors, that they can not help come with the correct equipment. Not one word of that makes sense to put whatever. When we moved into the place they were moving us out of, we used a different mover & it took them 2 hours tops to unload and assemble every item including the washer/dryer, dining room, bedrooms & garage. They also had two people working & were able to fit down in a reasonable time. The drive to our new place was about 10min was not able to use our house of because of traffic, even though they put a mileage fee into their quote, we still paid for the drive time. We left all of the stuff in old place because they were taking so long it was only a two bedroom apartment with about 30 boxes & a couch. It took from 12 to 4 from them to load and unload everything which is a bit ridiculous one little stuff just had. They advertise that they don't have hidden fees but dont let it fool you, they do. If you pay Venmo, Zelle or cash, they'll give you a discount but if you pay with a card, they tack on an extra charge to convenience fee. We want to be we would get a military discount but when we mentioned it to the guy, he had no idea what we were talking about. The lady we spoke to stated that they have their own realtor at the end the day didn't, the gentleman had no clue what we were talking about. We were quoted $400ish for the move originally but ended up paying close to $800. Definitely don't recommend this company to move your stuff. | Andrew Dilloworth | |

They came with none of the wardrobe boxes that they needed and had to leave for 2 hours to find them. They brought majority small boxes in order to charge for increased number of boxes used.
