MovingScam Status
Independent in Fairfax and Gainesville. Website craigvanlines.com. Phone 703-273-5543. As of 12/10 it had an 'A+' BBB rating with no complaints over the past 36 months and the BBB says they were founded in 1980. (Their website talks about even earlier beginnings.) According to protectyourmove.gov they have MC #217589 and 8 trucks with 1 complaint (not Hostage Load) dating from 2006. In 11/10 'movingbug' posted that Craig gave him a much lower hourly quote than JK Moving or Two Guys and a Truck for a local move. On the same thread 'muatt' posted in 12/10 that Craig did a great job for him on a move to FL in the summer of 2010, including several months of storage (interstate with storage).
