| 1/5 | I used this company a few weeks back to move. I was able to get a quote right away and they were able to accommodate a last minute move fairly easily. The moving crew was awesome. HOWEVER I would NEVER use them again, nor recommend them to anyone! During the move my brand new sectional and mattress was damaged, multiple rips. The moving crew said someone would call me, that never happened. I called 6 times to date and have never received a call back. Every person I have spoke with has promised a call the next day for the owner, and NOTHING! I am so angry, I would suggest using another company. | KIA Hunter | |
| 1/5 | Used them to move from Madison and Chicago to DC. Had a sub par experience. In loading at Madison, items that needed to be protected got packed. The exact plan for loading was not communicated. They were 3 hours late to the moving appointment in Chicago. They forgot to load a 5 foot plant in the loading dock in Chicago. They couldn't open the door of their truck in DC and thus waited for 40 minutes to find a bolt cutter to open the door. Also they damaged the base of a table with a marble table top table during the unloading. Finally, they overran their initial estimate by $1000. These overruns were justified because they claimed that the house was insufficiently ready to be packed. However the number of hours spent packing this house on their end remain the same from the estimate for the final charge, therefore this is not an adequate explanation of the cost overruns. I paid the excess from the estimate because I needed to be done with the moving, however I do feel cheated because some of the explanations did not add up. | Amritava Das | |
