Metropolitan Moving & Storage

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Metropolitan was the only company that offered me an in-person walkthrough estimate. The total bill came in significantly under their minimum estimate (hundreds of dollars less).

Over the course of a three-day pack out and moving job, the entire team is courteous, professional, efficient, nimble and totally helpful in every aspect of clearing out a large apartment. Additionally their storage capabilities are very flexible.

Mario and his crew were on time, easy to work with and experienced. They were so efficient that the move took about half of the estimated time! Very pleasant to work with and talk too.

We moved earlier this week and used metropolitan movers. They were one of the cheapest and the final bill was very close to what they estimated. They were very professional and nothing broke or got scratched.

We used Metropolitan a few years ago too. They were inexpensive and did a great job. I also thought they did the best job of any company at accurately estimating the number of movers and truck size we would need.

WARNING Horrible Company. DO NOT BOOK!! I was booked for a in person estimate and staff took me off schedule without notice. Very unprofessional. He apologized but did not even bother to notify me.

Hired a dozen times, and hired movers for half my moves, and I can unequivocally say this is the worst moving company you could possibly hire in the entire DC/MD/VA area. They will misquote you by hundreds of dollars, they will also break everything you own.
