Industry people have spoken highly of the company, which has several branches in Southern CA. One poster ('Pocketry') liked the estimator and was leaning toward moving with Merit from LA to Miami. 'greenocharger' also gave Merit an excellent review of a large move from Los Angeles to Wayne, PA in 8/05, singling out the sales rep Frank Buckley and the Mayflower driver Daniel Malnia and his assistant Fred Blear for praise. 'carelomme' also gave Merit an excellent report as an origin agent for a move from Pasadena to the NYC area in ADT, mentioning specifically the sales rep John Horta, the move coordinator Sandy, and the packing team. 'movingpacket' posted in 7/07 that Merit was the most professional of the companies she called for a quote for her approximately 3000-pound shipment to MA. Penn (Mayflower) and Nelson (North American) wouldn't come to her student residence to do an estimate, and the Nelson rep was 'actually pretty rude' on the phone. 'missdaise' decided on Merit for her move to MI in 8/08, saying that her husband liked John Horta and its price was also lower than that of a couple of other companies.
