United (also Mayflower) agent in Alexandria. This company is affiliated with both United and Mayflower and is one of the largest agencies in the UniGroup family. It has been praised by several industry people, although people say that this branch is not nearly as good as the one in NJ, which is the company HQ. The consensus is that it is comparable to Suddath in quality and below Hilldrup and Von Paris. It has the phone number 703-823-0900. Two reviews have mentioned Rochelle as being a helpful sales rep. We have a good review of this branch by 'Arline' for her move to FL with a dropoff of certain things in GA. 'peeta0' was also very happy with a shipment that went to FL. 'jadieny' decided to go with McCollister's for a move to NYC, they were the only company to give her a GNTE although they were somewhat disorganized. 'moving2ca' was considering McCollister's for a move to CA in 9/06 but they never got back to her with a Binding estimate in a timely fashion so went with Ambassador instead. 'victoryisuck' gave McCollister's a rave review for his (company-paid) move from MA to DC in 2006, comparing it favorably with Victory Van's service in 2007. As his screen name suggests, He said the packing and loading in MA were excellent, box quality was much better than Victory Van's, there was no damage even after two months' storage in VA, and Diane in McCollister's Alexandria office was excellent at communicating.
