INTERSTATE VAN LINES

Independent in Springfield. MC #301745. Website invan.com. Phone 800-745-6683. As of 12/07 it had 3 BBB complaints over the past 36 months. It also operates under the names Ace Van & Storage, Ambassador Worldwide Moving (confusing because there is an Allied agent with the same name), Interstate International Inc., and Interstate Moving Systems. In 3/07, 'weem' (works for a moving company in northeast MD) urged caution about this company, which had given someone a low Nonbinding estimate. However, in 4/07 'Rick' (industry expert) posted positive comments about Interstate, noting that it focuses on military and commercial moves. He said that it has a loose relationship with Allied Van Lines, which might account for its sometimes using the name Ambassador Worldwide Moving. 'ArchieWhite' (owns a United/Mayflower agency in Atlanta) posted positive comments about Interstate in 1/08. (Just a comment that companies that do well with military and commercial moves don't always do as well with household goods.)
