Consumer contracted with Huge Van Lines. Without consumer knowledge, Huge subcontracted pickup to Howard Van Lines (Howards Vanlines Inc, Garfield NJ). Driver Jordan and two helpers arrived in an almost-full semi marked Howards instead of contracted 28-foot box truck. Howard Van Lines attempted to charge an extra 5,000 dollars. Consumer refused, so carrier only took partial load. Delivery date given by driver but no-show. Management at Huge Van Lines refuses calls. Owner of Howard Van Lines, Joe Hannoush (108 Washington Ave A, Hawthorne NJ), denies owning the company but contacted driver after consumer called him. Company also operates under Choice Van Line name.
