'Lynn' was set to go with them for a move from Sacramento to Tampa but never came back to give a final report. She said that she had moved twice with them in the Sacramento area and was pleased. 'BigLeeCalf' (working for Chipman in Concord) volunteered to call the dispatch office and get the load registered as a self-haul, which we didn't know was possible. (Good to know.) 'California Bound' posted that Chipman did an excellent job on a local move, and the guys moved quickly, saving him money. 'joel5000' posted that he had an excellent move with Chipman to Portland in 1/08. Although the sales rep was flaky, the driver (Emery) and a father-son team that worked as helpers were very good, and the weight came in far below the estimate, saving Joel money. 'nsanywhere' (real name Natalie) posted an excellent review of her move with Chipman to PA in 5/07, praising especially the sales rep Kevin Blasy. 'spring' (real name Laimie) posted a rave review of her self-hauled shipment to New York with Chipman Alameda in 9/07, also praising the 'extremely personable' sales rep Kevin and the Chipman driver John. Both Natalie and Laimie said they were underwhelmed by the sales rep Phil at NorCal as compared with Kevin at Chipman. 'LASPirit' posted in 11/07 that for his move to VA booked by Chipman Concord he was assigned a great driver, Gary McConnell, who drives for Chipman Fairfield and was named Household Goods Super Van Operator of the Year by AMSA. He was 'a class act,' as was his co-driver, Jerry, and the move went beautifully.
