FLAT RATE MOVING TUPELO LLC

Independent. On is Southlawn in Rockville. Website flatrate.com and MC #480211. As of 7/06 there were at least three other branches of this company, in NYC, CA, and FL. It is different from Flat Rate Movers of NJ (MC #562493) and from the Flat Rate Moving in Silver Spring, MD (MC #540973), both of which are dubious or scam companies with no interstate licensing. As of 3/8/11 the Flat Rate in Rockville had 14 BBB complaints in the past 36 months and was rated 'unsatisfactory' because of unanswered complaints. Industry people consider it to be a bit iffy, mainly because it gives Binding estimates often based on just an inventory list. 'carrie904' also used the Rockville Flat Rate for a local move and was generally satisfied, although there was some confusion about the pricing. 'sari' gave Flat Rate a rave review for a Binding estimated move to NYC where they came on short notice after a scam company abandoned her.
