“It sucks. It's expensive. But I'd do it again. We moved a 2000 SQ ft house in half a day. Paid just under $1000”

“Dogwood. I've used them twice for local moves, great both times.”

“Dogwood all the way. Reasonable rates, charge per hour. Quoted me 4 hours to move a 2 br apt to a townhouse, were done in 3 hours and charged for 3 hours. No complaints.”

“Dogwood was fantastic for us too. In addition to great pricing, the team was just SO pleasant on what was a stressful day. I know that job is hard and they were just so nice to be around were exceptionally helpful.”

“Another great experience with Dogwood here. Was a fairly small, local job (mostly wanted help moving furniture and other bulky stuff, but ended up moving plenty of boxes, etc too). Ended up with 3 guys and a truck, right at their minimum time. Great communication leading up to the move, they showed up on time, super clear on how the pricing worked before they started. Guys worked efficiently, disassembled (like, mirror removing legs/feet) and packaged (wrapped in cardboard/moving blankets) some furniture as needed, etc. They even helped break down some old furniture we were throwing away so it would fit into my vehicle. Was very happy with it, and well worth the $$ to help move stuff.”

“And yes, pricing was $xx/hour (I can't remember the rate we paid, but it was on the website), and rolled in 10 or 15 min increments, from the start time (after they walk the house with you, and you sign the papers) to when they're done. Paid after everything was finished. I didn't feel like the movers were intentionally going slow at any point either.”

“Another vote for Dogwood here. They were super prompt, careful, reasonably priced, and very fast. I screwed up the booking (my final confirmation email didn't go through, 100% my fault) and when I called them the morning of what I thought was my scheduled move, they were able to get a team out to me that same morning and complete the move. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do I'm not doing it without hiring Dogwood.”
