'weem' (works for a mover in northeast MD) said that he had heard good things about the company. Someone who works there ('Tanya') has made valuable contributions to the MovingScam messageboard. She posted the following info about Brennan's: 'The majority of our moves are local, however we do long distance moves up and down the East Coast (North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, PA, DE, New Jersey, New York). One thing to keep in mind though, depending on how much you have to be moved on a long distance move, we may suggest it's not cost efficient to use our company. Our customers have exclusive use of our trucks, we do not "piggy back" loads, so if you have a small amount of items it wouldn't be cost efficient to pay for us to travel so far and back when there are other companies who could do it at a better rate by combining their loads.' In 7/07, 'Innerpeace' (real name Heather) posted that her boss had an excellent local move with Brennan's. 'She said it was a perfect move and she couldn't be happier. She commented that the movers were very professional, hard working, and friendly. Apparently, they mistakenly broke the leg of her daughter's particle board nightstand (had no value). They were over and over very apologetic even after my boss said that it was no big deal.' Heather added that Brennan's recommended Von Paris for her own move to FL since they couldn't go that far with her shipment.
