ALL JERSEY MOVERS

Independent in Sterling. DOT# 1065394 has warehouses both in Sterling (phone 703-996-1325 or 800-673-8487) and in Gaithersburg, MD at 7561 Lindbergh Drive (phone 301-340-6683). A sales rep, Sean Fagan, has a website at seanfagan.moverinc.org, and phone 703-673-8487. JK Moving has been praised by both 'Rick' (industry expert) and 'MMP' (works for an independent mover). 'Michael' (worked for a competitor in NC) also praised it as did 'EastCoastMover' (a driver for NAVL). And 'Glad to Help!' (industry person) posted, 'In my opinion they are one of the best moving companies in the USA.' Three NAVL drivers complimented JK in 7/06 for the way management treated them (which can be an indication of the way management will treat customers). 'MusicMom' gives a quick overview. A lot has been said about it here (including that it's a bit pricey). Briefly, someone from the company posted several bogus messages here slamming several of its competitors (Town & Country, Beltway, and Hilldrup). It could have been the work of one renegade employee or it could have been symptomatic of a larger problem. However, the company seems to have performed well for people posting here, by and large. 'Arline' posted that JK has contracts with the State Department. She got a quote from them for her move to FL but went with McCollister's. 'DrBowe' gave JK a rave review for a move in the DC area in May 2004. 'Rib Eye' was set to use JK for a local move in Alexandria in December 2004 but never came back to report. Multiple positive threads for both local and interstate moves. 'guestNC' posted a catch-all statement summarizing his and his family members' and acquaintances' experiences with JK: most were good but a couple were bad (one person alleged that a JK worker stole something).
