In 7/07 he commented that his grandfather started the company 82 years ago, he took over when his dad retired, and his son (A.C. White IV, called Chip) will be the next in line. He also said the company has 30 over-the-road trucks (now closer to 25). 'BigLeeCalf' (works for a Mayflower agent in CA) has described the owner (Archie White) as 'from the old school' and a man of integrity. The company does about 2000 moves a year, about 350 of which are local and intra-state (within GA) and moves about 1650 of which are interstate, most booked by A.C. White itself. The company reportedly has 16 salespeople in the Atlanta area alone. One of Archie's cousins, Tim White, is the Operations Manager and another cousin, Pete White, handles sales and customer service.
